Located in the foothills of the Arkansas Ozarks, we are dedicated to bringing young adults and children quality literature from a Biblical and Southern perspective. We believe it is important to encourage the next generation in faith, virtue, and old-time Southern honor.
Bryce A. Chandler is the author of A Courier for Stonewall and The Orphan and the Beaten Drum. When he was thirteen, Bryce made his own replica Civil War drum in hopes to become a drummer boy. When he was twelve, he began writing his first published book. As a young author, Bryce hopes to inspire others to accomplish their dreams, no matter how young they are.
Bryce was home-schooled his whole life and is presently pursuing an online degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He plays both the fife and drum during re-enactments of the War for Southern Independence and travels to libraries and schools to speak with kids about the war. He resides with his family in Northeast Arkansas and is now writing his third book, a sequel to The Orphan and the Beaten Drum. To find out more about Bryce's events, go to Slice of Bryce.
